Hi! My name is Frances K Gray and I am the person behind Writing in Gray. When I started this journey to become a business, my original plan wasn’t set in stone. I knew that I enjoyed writing and designing but I really didn’t know how to create a business model from my hobbies… I have always known I am funny, quirky and a big personality, and that I have a knack for using my personality and funny anecdotes to market and sell things, so I spent a year selling online before I ran out of things to sell. I then started dabbling in creating social media posts, designing logos, business stationary, and just anything generally creative that I could offer to businesses as a freelance copywriter in Tunbridge Wells before also offering my writing out to individuals who needed wedding speeches, poetry, etc writing for them. I realised along the way that there was no way I could decide between the different threads that I enjoy, and instead decided Writing in Gray would encompass them all!
